Allergen-aware compounding
Some patients need a formula that avoids dyes, gluten, lactose, preservatives, or another ingredient on their avoid list. When the prescription and available pharmaceutical-grade materials allow it, we can discuss options with you and your clinician.
What allergen-aware means here
It means we take your avoid list seriously and prepare within what the Rx and our ingredients allow. It does not mean a guarantee of a completely allergen-free environment or that every commercial product can be remade without a restricted excipient.
What to put on the prescription
- Active drug, strength, form, and directions
- Clear avoid list (for example: no dyes, no gluten-containing fillers)
- Any prior commercial product that caused a problem
Pickup, delivery & mailing
Pickup is available at our Orange counter. Local delivery within about 50 miles and statewide shipping throughout California are also available—not free, and not every Rx can ship. Call (714) 790-4085 for coverage and cost.
