When a commercial product is the wrong strength, the wrong form, or not a good fit for how a patient can take medicine, clinicians sometimes prescribe a compounded option for pain-related therapy. We prepare those patient-specific compounds at our Orange pharmacy—by prescription only.

Who this page is for

Patients whose licensed clinician has prescribed a compounded pain-related medication, and clinicians who need a compounding pharmacy for custom topicals or other forms. We do not diagnose pain, recommend controlled substances online, or ship pain medicines without a valid Rx.

How compounding can support pain-related prescriptions

Topical creams or gels when a clinician wants localized application instead of—or in addition to—another route

Forms that avoid an ingredient a patient cannot use, when the Rx and available materials allow

How this differs from BLT cream

BLT cream (benzocaine / lidocaine / tetracaine) is typically ordered by clinics for short-term topical numbing before aesthetic or dermatology procedures. Pain management compounds are patient-specific therapies prescribed for an individual’s treatment plan. Different use, different paperwork—call us if you are unsure which path applies.

Have them send the Rx to Tustin Premier Compounding Pharmacy, or transfer an existing compound.
Call (714) 790-4085 to confirm receipt and timing.
Pick up in Orange or ask about delivery / California mailing on our service area page.
Refill only when refills remain on the prescription.

What the prescription should include

Drug name(s), strength, form, quantity, and directions
Patient identifiers and allergy / avoid-list notes
Base or application notes for topicals when relevant

Pain compounding FAQs

Can I request a pain compound without seeing a doctor?

No. A licensed prescriber must write a valid prescription.

Do you list every pain formula you can make?

No. Public drug menus create confusion and safety risk. Your clinician specifies the formula; we prepare what is legal and workable.

Is BLT the same as a pain cream?

Usually not. BLT is a clinic topical anesthetic for procedures. Ask your clinician—or call the pharmacy—if you need the right page for your order.
