What to expect from a compounded prescription
Compounds are made for a specific prescription. They are not always waiting like a stock tablet. This page sets realistic expectations for timing, pickup, and the questions that help you leave the counter confident.
Timing
Timing depends on the formula, ingredient availability, and how complete the prescription is when we receive it. We give you a realistic window when we see the Rx—not a one-size promise on a website.
Pickup
We will call or text when ready if you leave a good number. Bring ID. Ask us to review directions and storage before you leave. If someone else is picking up, ask what authorization we need.
Good questions to ask
- Shake or refrigerate?
- What flavor was used?
- Any ingredients I flagged as allergies?
- When should I start a refill request?
Pickup, delivery & mailing
Pickup is available at our Orange counter. Local delivery within about 50 miles and statewide shipping throughout California are also available—not free, and not every Rx can ship. Call (714) 790-4085 for coverage and cost.
